The Stoles : The Story

Starting where they left off but with a new name and in a new state, “The Stoles” are bringing their fresh take on classics and soul to the Milwaukee area!

It didn’t take long for what started as a group of college friends with a love of music and performance to transition from the garage to the stage. Within their first year on the scene “The Stoles” found themselves playing a number of venues in southern Minnesota; bars, weddings, parades, private parties and events all provided an avenue for the unique and tasteful sound of the five-piece band. After a short time apart where multiple members of the band took time for their studies overseas, the group is excited to reunite and share their talent with a new area.

Collaborating with local artists, the band revitalives old favorites by Frankie Valli, the Temptations, and others by adding the trombone to a more traditional rock set-up. In a similar style, the group covers more modern soul artists like Leon Bridges, Amy Winehouse, and Lake Street Dive. With years of experience playing and performing together, “The Stoles” strike the perfect balance between refined and liveliness that is sure to impress.
